About

What is mindfulness? It teaches you to get in touch with the here and now. You will learn to observe your thought processes and feelings, without judgement. In this way you will develop more distance from your thoughts and feelings and won’t get caught up as easy, as you’ll learn to let them pass by. You could feel more inner-peace, will learn to feel better and become the observant of your inner world. It could reduce stress and also broaden your focus. Mindfulness is inspired to Buddhism and modern psychology is increasingly coming to realize that it’s a “root construct”, which serves as a basis for many psychological concepts and insights. We have up 40 to 60.000 thoughts going around in our head, a day. That’s 52 thoughts per minute…Are you aware of what’s going on in there? And let’s not forget about the sensory overload of overstimulation most of us experience often… Think it would benefit us to cut ourselves some slack? Searching for a deeper connection with your body, mind and surroundings? I’d say lets start.
